Bushfire Rated

Building in a bushfire prone area means the site carries a BAL under AS 3959, and the roof and wall materials have to suit it.

For insulation and membranes the usual requirement is a flammability index at or below 5 to AS 1530.2. Flame Zone generally needs a non-combustible product such as a glass fabric membrane. A BAL rating belongs to the assembly, not to any single product. Delivered across Victoria and New South Wales.
