Polyester Insulation
Bonded polyester fibre, often with a high recycled content. It reaches the same R-values as glasswool at similar thicknesses, and it is chosen for handling: no itch, no loose fibre, no respiratory irritation.
The trade off is fire. Polyester is not non-combustible the way glasswool and rockwool are, so it is not the product where a specification calls for one. Delivered across Victoria and New South Wales.
