Stinger A-11 galvanised chisel point staples for hammer tackers. 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) crown, 3/8 inch leg, 20 gauge. 5000 staples per box, 20 boxes to a master carton, which is 100,000 staples.
Why the carton
RM Industries supply these by the master carton only, so that is how we list them. If you want a single box, ask us and we will quote it.
Galvanised, and that matters
A plain steel staple in a wall wrap rusts, and the rust stain runs down the membrane and eventually eats the leg. Galvanised is the minimum for anything that sits in a wall cavity. The chisel point drives cleanly rather than crushing the timber fibre.
Fit
They suit the Stinger HT38 hammer tacker and the same pattern as Rapid A-11 and Arrow T-50 tools. They meet ASTM F1667.
How far a carton goes
At roughly 150 mm centres on studs, one 5000 staple box covers a lot of wall. A master carton is a crew supply for a season rather than a single house.
Note: the Stinger data sheet gives the crown and leg as 3/8 inch, 20 gauge. RM Industries list the same item as 10 mm crown, 21 gauge. It is the same staple, described in different units.

Fitting notes
Load a full strip so the magazine feeds cleanly. Staple through the framing member, not through open membrane. Keep the boxes dry, because damp cardboard lets the collating glue soften and the strips break up in the magazine.

Common questions
Can I buy a single box?
Not through the website. RM Industries supply these by the master carton only, which is 20 boxes. Contact us and we will quote a single box separately.
How many staples is that?
100,000. 5000 per box, 20 boxes per carton.
What tools do they fit?
The Stinger HT38 hammer tacker, and tools taking the A-11 pattern such as Rapid A-11 and Arrow T-50.
Are they galvanised?
Yes. In a wall cavity that matters, because a plain steel staple rusts and stains the membrane.
Why do the crown sizes differ between the two sheets?
They do not. The Stinger sheet gives 3/8 inch, which is 9.525 mm, and RM round it to 10 mm. The gauge is listed as 20 by Stinger and 21 by RM, which is the same wire described from different references.
