R3.1 Bradford SoundScreen is a higher density non-combustible glasswool acoustic batt at 110 mm, the deepest in the SoundScreen range.
Where a 110 mm acoustic batt belongs
Deeper stud walls and midfloors, and rooms where the noise problem is worth solving properly: home theatres, media rooms, a bedroom against a living area, or a floor above a garage. The extra depth gives the cavity more material to absorb sound energy, and it brings the thermal figure up as a side benefit.
What Rw will I get
Rw is a property of the whole system, not of the batt. Lining, framing, fixings and gaps all move it. Tell us the build-up and we will send the system report that matches.
Sizes
Six batts per pack at 1160 mm long: 430 mm wide covering 2.99 m² and 580 mm wide covering 4.04 m². The cavity has to be at least 110 mm deep for the batt to sit at full thickness. In a 90 mm wall use the 88 mm version instead of compressing this one.

Friction fit, touching the frame on all four sides, no gaps at the top, bottom or edges.
