R2.2 Bradford Gold is a 90 mm non-combustible glasswool wall batt, a small step above the standard R2.0 in the same stud depth.
Where the extra 0.2 comes from
Same 90 mm cavity, slightly more performance. It is worth taking when the energy assessment lands just short on the wall figure and you do not want to change the frame or move to a high density batt. If you need more than this out of 90 mm, the HP range goes to R2.5 and R2.7 at the same thickness.
Sizes
Two sizes, both 16 batts per pack at 1160 mm long: 430 mm wide covering 7.98 m² and 580 mm wide covering 10.77 m². Measure the clear width between studs before ordering.
On site
Friction fit between the studs, touching the frame on all four sides. Gaps at the edges cost more performance than most people expect, and squashing a batt into a narrow bay costs more again. Cut it to fit.
Non-combustible glasswool, thermal rating declared to AS/NZS 4859.1 by the manufacturer. Sizes and CSR product codes are in the table below.
