R2.7 HP Bradford Gold is the highest R-value the Bradford Gold range reaches in a 90 mm stud wall. High density non-combustible glasswool.
The top of what 90 mm can do
If the assessment asks for more than R2.7 in a wall, the batt is no longer the variable. At that point you are looking at a deeper frame, or at adding performance outside the frame with a wall wrap or a rigid board. Getting there by compressing a thicker batt into 90 mm does not work, because a compressed batt does not hold its rating.
Sizes
Five batts per pack across four sizes: 1160 x 420 mm covering 2.44 m², 1200 x 450 mm covering 2.7 m², 1160 x 570 mm covering 3.31 m² and 1200 x 600 mm covering 3.6 m². These are small packs, so a whole house takes a lot of them. Count the wall area properly before ordering.
