R2.0 Bradford SoundScreen is a higher density non-combustible glasswool batt at 70 mm, made for internal walls and floors where the job is stopping noise between rooms rather than heat from outside.
Density is what does the acoustic work
SoundScreen is denser than a standard wall batt of the same thickness. That density is what absorbs sound energy inside the cavity. It also carries a thermal figure, which is useful, but it is not why you would buy it.
What Rw will I get
Rw belongs to the whole wall or floor system, not to the batt. The lining, the framing, the fixings and any gap left at an edge all move the result, often by more than changing the batt does. Tell us the build-up and we will send the system report that matches it.
Sizes
Nine batts per pack in four sizes: 1160 x 430 mm covering 4.49 m², 1200 x 450 mm covering 4.86 m², 1160 x 580 mm covering 6.05 m² and 1200 x 600 mm covering 6.48 m². Measure the clear cavity before ordering. For deeper studs, 88 mm and 110 mm versions carry the range further.

Friction fit so the batt touches the frame on all four sides. Gaps matter more in acoustic work than in thermal work, because sound will find any path that air can take.
