Bradford Anticon Antiglare is a standard Anticon roofing blanket with a non-reflective foil facing. The glasswool and the job it does in the roof are unchanged. What changes is that the facing does not throw sunlight back at the crew laying it.
Why the antiglare facing exists
A bright foil face under an open roof in full sun is hard to work over. Glare off the blanket makes fixing lines difficult to read and footing harder to judge, which matters when the crew is working above safety mesh. If the roof is going on in summer or across a wide open span, the antiglare face is worth specifying, and it gives up nothing in thermal performance to do it.
Sizes and R-values
Three options: R1.3 at 60 mm, R1.8 at 80 mm and R2.3 at 100 mm. Coverage is 18 m² for the 15 m roll and 12 m² for the 10 m rolls. As with any blanket, that figure is the material R-value, not what the finished roof reaches once the blanket is compressed over a purlin. Roofing blanket R-values covers the gap between the two numbers.
Bushfire
Rated for BAL 12.5-40 when installed to specification. Standard Anticon is rated through to Flame Zone, so check what the site requires before choosing on the facing alone.
