Sisalation Vapawrap is a wall wrap from Fletcher, stocked in three roll sizes: 1350 x 30 m covering 40.5 m², 1500 x 30 m covering 45 m², and 2700 x 30 m covering 81 m².
The wide roll
At 2700 mm the roll runs a full storey height in one piece, which removes the horizontal lap line completely. Every lap is a join that has to be taped correctly to keep the barrier working, so removing them is worth more than the material saving on a large elevation.
On site
Tape the joins and seal the penetrations. An untaped wall wrap is not a weather or air barrier, and this is the step most often skipped on site.
