R6.0 Pink Ceiling Batts are the highest R-value ceiling batt in the Fletcher Pink range, FBS-1 bio-soluble glasswool, Australian made using up to 80% recycled content.
This is a depth-limited product
At R6.0 the question is almost never whether the batt performs, it is whether the roof space can actually take it at full thickness across the whole ceiling. Check the clear depth at the eaves, around ductwork and under any bracing before ordering. A high R batt crushed into a shallow space gives you the cost of R6.0 and the performance of something well below it.
Fire and bushfire
Non-combustible to AS/NZS 1530.1, rated BAL Low through to Flame Zone under AS 3959, and it meets NCC 2022 clause C2D10(1) for non-combustibility.
Sizes
Six batts per pack at 1160 mm long. The 430 mm width covers 2.99 m² and the 580 mm covers 4.04 m², the lowest coverage per pack in the Pink ceiling range, so the pack count on a full ceiling adds up quickly.
On site
Cuts with a knife and friction fits between the joists. Let the batts recover to full loft before installing, do not compress them, keep them dry, and keep the clearances downlights and flues require.
Exact batt dimensions, pack quantities and the full fire and compliance figures are in the table below.

Compliance applies when the product is correctly specified and installed.
Fitting notes
Cuts with a knife and friction fits between joists, so it holds without fixings. Keep batts at full loft and let them recover before installing. Do not compress them into the space, because a squashed batt delivers less than its rated R-value. Keep the product dry at all times, before, during and after installation.
