R4.0 HP Bradford Gold is a high density non-combustible glasswool wall batt at 140 mm, for deep stud walls rather than standard residential framing.
This needs a 140 mm frame
It is not a batt you fit into a 90 mm wall. At 140 mm it belongs in a deliberately deep wall, the kind built for a high energy rating, a passive design, or a commercial wall build-up where the frame was sized for the insulation from the start. Check the actual stud depth before ordering, because there is no way to make this work in a shallower cavity.
Sizes
Five batts per pack in two sizes at 1160 mm long: 420 mm wide covering 2.44 m² and 570 mm wide covering 3.31 m².
On site
Friction fit so the batt touches the frame on all four sides. No gaps, and no compression, which matters more at this density than anywhere else in the range.
