Flexible for a reason
A tiled roof moves. Ridge and hip bedding is exactly where that movement concentrates, which is why rigid mortar pointing cracks and lets water in over time. A flexible pointing compound is formulated to move with the roof instead of fighting it, which is what makes the repair last.
Colour
Two colours are stocked. On a repointing job, colour match against the existing roof in daylight rather than from a screen, because tiled roof colours weather considerably.
