Bradford Wall Wrap and Sarking Tapes

Tapes for sealing wall wrap and sarking joins and penetrations. Six options including Enviroseal SLS double sided at 24 mm x 50 m, Enviroseal SLS flexible sealing tape at 60 mm x 5 m, Enviroseal black label sealing tape, Ultratape and Hightack at 60 mm x 25 m, and Proctor air barrier tape at 60 mm x 25 m.

The tape is not an optional extra

A wall wrap only becomes a weather and air barrier once the joins and penetrations are sealed. An untaped wrap is a sheet of material with gaps in it. This is the most commonly skipped step on site and the one that most often explains why a wrapped wall still leaks air.

Choosing

Double sided tape joins laps without a visible strip. Flexible sealing tape suits penetrations and corners where a rigid tape will not follow the shape. Air barrier tape is for sealing to the frame or to adjoining materials. Match the tape to the membrane you are using, since adhesion varies between substrates.
