Bradford Thermoseal Wall Wrap XP is a wall sarking with a semi-reflective antiglare face, aimed at residential and commercial walls in humid climates.
What the antiglare face changes
A bright foil wrap on a sunlit wall frame is hard to work against, and the glare is worse on a large commercial elevation than on a house. The antiglare face cuts that without giving up the radiant heat function. It is the same idea as an antiglare roofing blanket, applied to a wall.
It is still a vapour barrier
XP limits moisture entry rather than letting vapour through. In a humid climate that cuts both ways, so check the wall build-up rather than assuming a barrier is always the safer option. Where the design needs vapour to escape outward, the vapour permeable Enviroseal range is the alternative.
Sizes
1350 mm x 30 m covering 40.5 m² and 1350 mm x 60 m covering 81 m². Medium duty tear resistant laminate, built to sit behind brickwork and cladding long term.
On site
Tape the joins and seal the penetrations. The reflective face needs an air gap in front of it. Suitable for BAL 12.5 through to Flame Zone when installed to specification.
