Bradford Enviroseal RW is a Class 4 vapour permeable wall wrap, a light duty triple layer spun bond membrane. Non-reflective, and built around condensation control rather than radiant heat.
Why permeable
A wall that cannot dry outward holds whatever moisture gets into it, and moisture in a wall cavity is how framing and linings get damaged quietly over years. Class 4 permeability lets water vapour move out through the wrap while the membrane still blocks liquid water and draughts from outside. Condensation and what NCC 2022 asks for explains the mechanism and why this became a bigger deal in recent code cycles.
Sizes, including wide rolls
1500 mm x 30 m covering 45 m², 1500 mm x 50 m covering 75 m², 2750 mm x 25 m covering 68.75 m², 3000 mm x 25 m covering 75 m², and an RW-IT version with integrated tape at 1500 mm x 50 m. The 2750 and 3000 mm rolls cover a full storey height in one run, which removes horizontal joins on a commercial elevation.
On site
Tape and seal it to work as a weather barrier. Being non-reflective, it does not need an air gap in front of it. Suitable for BAL 12.5 through to Flame Zone when installed to specification.
