Bradford Rockwool Fibertex 820 is the highest temperature grade in the Fibertex range, high density unfaced stone wool rated for service up to 820 °C.
Where 820 is the right grade
This is furnace, kiln and high temperature exhaust territory rather than general plant insulation. If your operating temperature is comfortably under 650 °C, Fibertex 650 covers it for less. Specify 820 when the surface temperature, including upset conditions, genuinely goes there.
Board, blanket and strip
Four board and blanket options here, from 4000 x 600 x 25 mm covering 4.8 m² to 1200 x 600 x 50 mm covering 4.32 m². The same grade also comes as pre-cut strips for lagging work.
Unfaced
Supplied without a facing, so cladding or a facing is applied separately to suit the installation and the environment.
