Bradford Rockwool Fibertex 450 is unfaced stone wool board and blanket rated for service temperatures up to 450 °C.
Pick the grade from the operating temperature
The grade number is the maximum service temperature. 450 sits between 350 and 650. Work from the hottest surface the insulation will sit against, including during upset conditions rather than only in normal running, and choose the grade above it.
Board or blanket
Blanket wraps pipework and irregular shapes. Board suits flat surfaces, vessels and enclosures where the insulation needs to hold its own form. Both are supplied unfaced.
Sizes
Seven options, from blanket at 4000 x 600 x 50 mm covering 4.8 m² to board at 1200 x 600 x 100 mm covering 2.16 m².
Stone wool insulates, absorbs sound and provides fire resistance in the one material. Sizes and CSR product codes are in the table below.
