Bradford Rockwool Fibermesh 650 is stone wool blanket stitched to a steel mesh backing, rated for service temperatures up to 650 °C, in galvanised or stainless steel mesh.
Mesh backed, for wrapping
The stitched mesh holds the blanket together while it is being wrapped and wired around pipework and vessels. Without it, a cut blanket loses its integrity exactly where it is being bent, which is where lagging usually fails first.
Galvanised or stainless
Galvanised is the general purpose option. Stainless steel mesh is the one to specify where the temperature or the environment would attack a galvanised coating over time.
Sizes
Four options in 3 m and 5 m lengths at 600 mm wide, in 50 mm and 75 mm thicknesses, covering 1.8 m² to 3 m² per roll.
Against the plain grades
For flat surfaces and enclosures where nothing has to be wrapped, unfaced Fibertex 650 covers the same temperature for less.
