The ICCONS Extreme fuel cell is the gas for the ICCONS range of concrete nailers, including the GTIXF-160C insulation tool as well as the GT-3, GT-6, GTI-140C and GT6-IXF.
What makes it the premium cell
A quick clip valve, a shelf life of over 24 months, operation down to minus 10 degrees and a lean mix formulated for hot and humid conditions. Those two ends of the range are where cheaper cells cause misfires: a cold morning on a concrete slab, and a summer afternoon in a roof space.
Compatibility
ICCONS also list it as compatible with Powers Trak-it C3, Ramset TrakFast TF1100 and TF1200, and Paslode Framemaster, which needs a proprietary dosing valve. Those are trademarks of Stanley Black and Decker, Ramset and ITW respectively.
Handling
A fuel cell is a pressurised aerosol. Keep it out of direct sun and out of a hot vehicle, and follow the tool manual and the cell label for storage and transport.
