Bradford Type 4 shutter dampers control airflow through Hurricane and EcoPower ventilators. Manual cord operated and powered versions, in 250 mm and 300 mm here, with the wider range running from 300 mm to 900 mm.

Why you would damper a ventilator

A turbine extracts continuously. In winter that can mean pulling heated air out of a building you are paying to warm. A damper lets you shut the ventilation down seasonally, or control it as part of a building management strategy, without removing the ventilator.

Manual or powered

Cord operated dampers suit a single unit within reach of an operator. Powered dampers suit units at height, larger installations, or anywhere the control has to be automated or centralised.
