Read the option names carefully
Two different products sit in this range and they are not interchangeable. Roof Safe safety mesh is fall protection. Insulmesh is a support mesh only and must not be used as fall protection. If anyone will be working above it, the only correct order is Roof Safe. Getting this wrong is not a performance compromise, it is a safety failure, so check the option name on the order rather than the picture.
Fall protection during and after the build
Safety mesh goes across the purlins and is fixed before the sheeting, so it is in place while the roof is still open and anyone is working above the ceiling. It stays there for the service life of the roof, which is what protects maintenance access years later.
Finishes
Galvanised or PVC coated. The PVC coated option is for corrosive environments where galvanising alone will not last, which is a real consideration near the coast or over process plant.
