Bradford Rockwool Fireseal curtain wall batts are non-combustible stone wool, 50 mm thick, cut 1200 x 120 mm and packed 18 to a pack.
What stone wool is doing here
Stone wool is specified in fire sealing details because it does not burn and it holds its shape under heat. A gap packed with a material that slumps or shrinks stops being a seal at exactly the moment it is needed, which is why the material choice is part of the fire design rather than a preference.
