Bradford Enviroseal Tuff is a breathable air and water barrier rated for both roof sarking and wall wrap. It is the roof-capable member of the Enviroseal family, aimed at condensation control under the roof as well as weather defence during construction.
Why a roof needs a breather too
Warm moist air rises. When it meets the cold underside of roof sheeting it condenses, and a roof sarking that traps that moisture keeps it in the roof cavity instead of letting it move on. A breathable membrane lets the vapour through while still stopping wind driven rain from getting into the cavity. Condensation in metal roofs covers the mechanism in detail.
Three options
Enviroseal HTS, Enviroseal HTS-IT with integrated tape, and Enviroseal Tuff, all 1500 mm x 30 m covering 45 m². The IT version carries its own tape strip for faster, neater sealing.
Bushfire
Suitable for all BAL regions, which is broader than most membranes in the range and makes it a straightforward choice on a bushfire rated site.
