Bradford Acoustigard partition roll at 14 kg/m³, the middle density in the Acoustigard range and the one most commonly named in commercial partition systems. Non-combustible glasswool.
Eight roll options
Four thicknesses, each in 600 mm and 450 mm widths: 50 mm at R1.2 covering 19.44 and 21.87 m², 75 mm at R1.8 covering 16.2 and 18.23 m², 90 mm at R2.2 covering 12.96 and 14.58 m², and 100 mm at R2.4 covering 12.96 and 14.58 m². Match the thickness to the stud and the width to the stud spacing.
Order by density, not by R-value
The R-value is a by-product here. What the tested wall system specifies is the density, so if the report says 14 kg/m³ do not substitute 11 or 24 because the R-value happens to line up.
On site
Cut to length off the roll and friction fit into the cavity, touching the frame on all four sides. An edge gap will undo more of the acoustic performance than a slightly thinner batt would.
