SPi reflective foil thermal blanket is a foil faced insulation blanket for metal roofs, stocked here in 5 mm and 10 mm.

What a reflective blanket does

It works mainly by reflection rather than by thickness. The foil face turns back radiant heat coming off the underside of the roof sheet, and it needs an air gap in front of it to do that, because a foil pressed flat against another surface conducts heat straight through instead of reflecting it. That makes the install detail as important as the product itself.
