Building the wall higher is expensive. Dropping baffles into the void above the partition line closes that path off. This is a targeted fix for flanking noise, not a general insulation product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhy compression packed\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blocks arrive compressed and expand once released, so a pack carries far more material than its shipped volume suggests and the block sizes itself into the void without a lot of trimming.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMaterial\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePolyester: non-toxic, non-itch, non-allergenic and odourless, which matters in an occupied building or a fit-out running alongside other trades.
